Vladimir Gruzdev was born Feb. 6, 1967 in the village Bolszewo Moscow region. His mother worked as a teacher of chemistry and biology in high school, his father was a career military man.
In 1984 he graduated from Gruzdev Suvorov Military School, and in 1991 became a graduate of the Military Institute of Foreign Languages, graduated with honors.
